OUR PROJECTS

Support for L.E.A Primary School Gwarinpa

Solicitude Beyond Borders Foundation launched an impactful initiative aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for students at L.E.A Primary School Gwarinpa, a government-owned primary school in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. This school has been grappling with a severe lack of learning materials and resources, which has adversely affected the academic performance and overall development of its students.

Recognizing the critical need for intervention, our foundation provided financial support to the school, enabling the procurement of essential learning materials. This initiative included the distribution of books, writing supplies, and other educational resources necessary for effective teaching and learning. By equipping the school with these materials, we aimed to create a more conducive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic success.

The lack of resources in schools can lead to significant educational disadvantages, leaving students uninformed and unprepared for future challenges. Our efforts at L.E.A Primary School Gwarinpa are designed to bridge this gap, ensuring that children have access to the tools they need to thrive academically.

Through this project, Solicitude Beyond Borders Foundation is committed to promoting educational equity and improving the quality of education for all students in Abuja. We believe that by addressing resource deficiencies, we can empower students to realize their full potential and contribute positively to society.

Project Aisha

Project Aisha is a transformative initiative by the Solicitude Beyond Borders Foundation aimed at improving the quality of life for physically challenged children in Abuja, Nigeria. The project specifically focused on Aisha, a young girl with disabilities who was previously confined to a wheelchair and forced to beg on the streets.

Recognizing the urgent need for intervention, our team successfully facilitated Aisha's transition off the streets and into a supportive environment. We visited her home to encourage her family, providing them with the financial, emotional and practical support necessary to foster Aisha's development.

As part of our commitment to empowering Aisha, we enrolled her in a local learning facility where she now attends classes alongside her peers. This educational opportunity not only provides her with essential skills and knowledge but also promotes social inclusion and personal growth.

Through Project Aisha, we aim to raise awareness about the challenges faced by children with disabilities and advocate for their right to education and a better quality of life. Our efforts reflect our mission to create a more inclusive society where every child, regardless of their physical challenges, has access to education and opportunities for a brighter future.
